INGREDIENTS

1 pound lamb chops

1 cup yogurt

1 Tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste

Salt to taste

1 Tablespoon of Tandoori Masala (I used @rajRajah Tandoori Masala)

2 tsp of kashmiri red chili powder
-
1 tsp of coriander powder
-
1 tsp of Garam Masala
-
2 tsp of chaat masala

2 tablespoons of oil
-
Juice of 1 fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup melted butter
This lamb chop recipe is going to make you a star at your next dinner party! They are marinated in tandoori masala and cooked in the oven to perfection! You can enjoy them with mint chutney and tandoori roti!
METHOD
- Depending on your lamb chop you may have to use a meat pounder to thin it out
- Using a paring knife cut a few 1/4 inch slashes in each lamb chop
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients together to form a tandoori paste and marinade the chops for at least 3-4 hours (overnight is better)
TIP: make sure you bring the lamb chops to room temperature before baking the - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Cook the lamb chops for about 30 minutes. You want to make sure to baste them with butter every 7-10 minutes to retain their moisture
- You can cook for less or more depending on how you like your lamb chops.
