Where are you located?

We’re based in North Potomac, Maryland, and serve the DMV area (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia) for pickup, delivery, catering and corporate orders.

Do you offer nationwide shipping?

Yes! We currently ship our Ladoo Experience Box (Box of 12) nationwide through Goldbelly — order it here. For wedding and event favors, we can also ship Ladoo Experience Boxes of 6 to one address in the U.S. Email us at inquiries@swaadishbyneelma.com for a shipping quote. All other desserts are local pickup or delivery only.

How do we pick up our order?

When you order online, choose your pickup date and a time slot (10am–1pm or 2pm–5pm) right on the product page. Pickup is from our kitchen in North Potomac, MD, and we’ll email you the exact address 24–48 hours before your pickup.

Are your desserts made fresh?

Yes. Every dessert is handmade to order in small batches, using high-quality ingredients like real saffron, cardamom, rose and pistachio.

Are your desserts gluten-free?

Some are. Our Mango Mousse and Raspberry Cheesecake mini desserts and our Besan and Rose Coconut ladoos are gluten-free. Our kitchen is not certified gluten-free, so we can’t guarantee against cross-contact. Please note: while we take every precaution, our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility.

Do you offer catering for events?

Yes. Our Dessert Catering packages serve 30 to 250 guests, and you can choose Delivery Only or Full-Service, where we style a complete dessert table with linens, florals and on-site staff. For offices and meetings, our Corporate packages are delivered ready to serve. You can also add savory bites and drinks from our Sip & Savory menu.

Can I customize a dessert order or package?

Yes. You choose the flavors for every order, package and gift set. For corporate gifts, we offer custom branded sleeves with your company logo. For anything beyond our menu, email us at inquiries@swaadishbyneelma.com and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

How far in advance should I place my order?

• Cakes, cupcakes, mini desserts and gift sets: at least 4 days
• Corporate packages and Sip & Savory add-ons: at least 1 week
• Dessert Catering (Delivery Only): at least 2 weeks
• Dessert Catering (Full-Service): at least 3 weeks
• Ladoos by the piece and corporate gifting: at least 2 weeks

What if I need my order sooner?

Our online calendar opens 4 days out. If you need something sooner, email us at inquiries@swaadishbyneelma.com and we’ll do our best to help. A 20% rush fee applies to orders we’re able to accommodate on short notice.

What is your refund policy?

Website Orders:

• Full payment is required at the time of order.
• Cancellations made more than 4 days before the event date will receive store credit only (no cash refunds).
• Cancellations made within 4 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund or store credit.

Custom Orders & Dessert Catering Packages:

• A 10% deposit is required at booking to secure your date and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the event.
• If cancelled before final payment is made, only the deposit is forfeited. Once final payment is made, the entire amount becomes non-refundable.
• No changes to the order (flavors, quantities, add-ons, etc.) may be made within 2 weeks of the event date.

Store Credit:

• All store credit issued under this policy must be used within 90 days of issuance.
• Store credit not used within this timeframe will be forfeited.

Do you offer tastings?

We don’t offer tastings at this time. Our desserts are made to order in our commercial kitchen.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout. Dessert Catering packages are secured with a 10% deposit, and corporate clients can request an invoice.
