  9. Drain the rice using a colander and give it a quick rinse of cold water.

  11. Add 4 tablespoons of ghee to the pan.
  12. Add 1/2 tablespoon of saffron to the ghee.
  13. Arrange the potato slices in an even layer in the bottom of the pot. Return rice to the pot on top of the potatoes in a dome shape.

  18. Cook for 20-25 minutes on low flame.
  19. Spoon rice into a platter and remove the Tahdig and place it on top of the rice.
