INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons of any instant coffee. I used Tasters Choice by Nescafe

  • 4 tablespoons of sugar. I used brown sugar

  • 1 tsp of chai masala or green cardamom (optional)

  • 3/4 cup of milk

It around the holidays or when it is bitter cold! Dipping cookies in it makes it taste even better!

METHOD

  1. Add the coffee and sugar in a bowl
  2. Add 2 tsp of milk to this mix
  3. Using an electric mixer, mix this mixture for 1-2 minutes till the color changes to a light brown chocolatey color and set aside. Check for sugar taste and adjust if you need to. The mixture should be thick and not runny
  4. Boil the rest of the milk on a stove
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of the coffee mix in a cup
  6. Pour the boiled milk in the cup
  7. Stir vigorously till the mixture is completely incorporated with the milk
  8. Add a pinch of cinnamon
  9. Enjoy!
