Tadka Beets (Tempered Beets)

INGREDIENTS
- Steamed and Peeled Beets. They are available in every major grocery store
- 1 cup of Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp of chaat masala
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of curry leaves (kadi pata)
- 1 tsp of mustard seeds (rai)
- 1 tablespoon of neutral oil
- Cut the beets into cubes
- In a mixing bowl, mix the beets with greek yogurt
- Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and chaat masala and mix well
- In a Tadka pan, heat the oil and add mustard seeds
- When they start to splatter, switch off the flame, and add curry leaves and immediately transfer this on top of the yogurt and the beets mix
