Chandni (Coconut Ladoo)

This year on the first day of Diwali, Kartik Amavasya (a significant New Moon day that occurs in the Hindu month of Kartik), bring home your own miniature balls of moonlight with Chandni. As its name suggests Chandni (Hindi word meaning “moonlight”), these ladoos are similar in looks to the harvest moon with its yellow color and flecks of white created by coconut flakes.
